If the consultation is in person, measurements will also be taken.

Through sketches and mood boards we will finalize the design and amount of embellishments. The agreed upon design is laid out in a commission contract.

Materials are ordered and to ensure the perfect fit a garment pattern is drafted to your measurements. Then a mockup out of plain cotton is created.

Several toiles (try on garments in cotton calico/canvas) are created to check and adjust fit, we allow for 3 -5 in person fittings, we generally only need 3 fittings.

This is the point where the real magic begins. We sometimes hand dye fabrics as it creates a more unique look. Before cutting out the panels and constructing the garment.

Usually the last step of the creation process is the embellishment, this is often the the most time consuming step, but is where it all comes together.

At collection, you will come, try on the dress, with full footwear, jewelry, veil, cape etc.

Your gown is now ready  to be taken home!
